Engineer – Generalist
Description:
Overall programming generalist, comfortable tackling a variety of projects.
Requirements:
At least three (3)+ years of C and C++ programming experience in the video game industry.
Strong generalist skills, with solid understanding of game-related math.
Development experience with core engine systems such as rendering, animation, audio, networking, and memory and resource management.
Designing and implementing systems and tools to support game needs (animation, locomotion, navigation, combat, etc).
Experience with multithreaded / parallel programming.
Ability to write clean documented maintainable, portable, and highly functional code.
Profiling and performance tuning of code and systems to remove bottlenecks.
As needed work on tools and technology tasks to support specific project requirements.
Specialist skills and interest in other areas (e.g. audio, networking, others) also valued.
Good understanding of what makes a game fun and interesting to play.
Must be requirements-driven.
Self motivated.
Excellent communication skills.
Development experience with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
Experience using performance profiling tools such as VTune, PIX, Tuner, GPAD , etc.

Strong understanding of Computer Vision, and Pattern Recognition software
Knowledge of numerical analysis, particularly model parameter estimation and nonlinear optimization.
